Summertime is just meant for bright and preppy clothing, in my opinion. I grabbed up this Lilly Pulitzer top and haven’t been able to take it off since! Bright and a gorgeous print?! Heck yes! I paired this fitted top with a flowy skirt for a perfect sunny afternoon outfit. E and I went and worked on some wedding registry stuff so it seemed like the perfect time to throw on this comfy yet cute outfit. I topped the look off with my favorite solid white Jack Rogers for a preppy little touch.

You know I’m a sucker for a good sale! The Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale is here and I can’t help but swoon over some of these deals! I’ve included some of my favorite styles from the sale. There’s some fun little summer dresses, beach cover ups, and even a couple little white dresses perfect for a bridal shower! I saw dress #1 and instantly thought I needed it for my shower this year (wow that’s coming up fast..) You’ll notice I also included a perfect pair of strappy taupe heels. You can’t help but love a staple like these beauties. I don’t know about you but my summer wardrobe NEEDS these goodies.
What are some of your favorites from the sale?
Have a great weekend babes.
We had an amazingly warm weekend this past weekend and I couldn’t help but do a little happy dance. I found this super fun floral print tee for ridiculously cheap this past week. A day full of sunshine just seemed like the perfect time to bust this top out! Now typically, I’m not totally into this type of super busy abstract floral print, but paired with these coral pants and my Sperry’s (not pictured) I felt a little extra prep in my step. P.S. did I mention this top is only $6.99?! Yeah, you really can’t beat that.
If you saw my Insta, you know that I hit up as many farmer’s markets as possible this past weekend! There’s just something about warm weather that makes me think all things markets; farmer’s, antiques, you name it! Where’s some good markets I should hit up?

Today I’m showing off one of my favorite floral prints for Floral Friday! I bought this dress last year from Red Dress Boutique. The bright and fun floral print caught my eye right away. On the down low, I wore the heck out of this dress last year and plan on keeping it on heavy rotation this year as well. Since this one is sold out I picked out a couple of other dresses I’ve had my eye on lately (check out the links below!)
What I love most about this dress is that it can be dressed down for a casual day or dress it up for a dinner date (like I did here!). A pop of bold colors seemed like a must have accessory, so naturally I paired this fun and flirty floral print with my Kate Spade!

I’m just loving this weather this past weekend! We had our first bonfire of the season accompanied with smores of course! Long story short: I thought I hated smores for most of my life until about 3 years ago. I found my one true love and now my fiancé and I host MULTIPLE smore parties every weekend that the weather is nice! But anyyyyway, back to this outfit! So as I’ve mentioned, I love embroidery! This is a top that I scored on a sweet deal from Kohl’s. It’s sold out now, but I’ve linked other options below. There’s something so perfectly preppy about a good coral/navy combo. Top it off with Jack Rogers and I’m super happy! (P.S. did you see the Jack sale right now? Spend $125 and get a free pair of jellies!)
Warm weather is right around the corner. What are you most looking forward to this Spring?

One trend I can totally jump on right now is floral print. I just love love floral everything! Not only is this dress cute, trendy, and reasonably priced, it also is unbelievably comfy AND has pockets. Yep, I’m sold! On a recent trip to Vegas I wore this dress to travel in and it was the best decision ever…minus TSA patting down the little knot I put in the hem😂 If you’re looking for a comfy dress for literally any occasion, a cotton midi dress is definitely the way to go.
I bought this dress last season from Roolee in the hopes of wearing it for engagement pictures but my boo just didn’t have anything to go with my dress and God forbid he have to go shopping (haha). It’s currently sold out but there are some other GREAT and similar options on Roolee‘s website right now, which I linked below.

On dreary Spring days I love to wear bright clothes. I guess it helps me think I’m somehow combating the gloom haha. I’m all about the spring temps right now and I’m kind of loving embracing the season in my wardrobe. On a recent trip to my local J.C. Penney’s I found this sweater. Unfortunately, my Penney’s will be closing shortly so everything was marked WAY down. I scored this sweater on sale for $5. While it’s not online for that price, it’s still only $12!! I mean come on, a bright knit sweater under $15? You know I’m all about that!
I paired this vivid sweater with some of my preppiest accessories; my favorite Lilly headband (last season) and my go-to Sperry’s (also last season). A pop of a colorful print is always my solution for a preppy outfit, if you know what I mean.

Embroidered is so in and I’m LOVING it! I can’t get enough of this trend! Let’s be real, I’ve been sporting embroidered tops for a couple years now and everyone thought I was crazy until now! (Alright I might be a little crazy too)
Another trendy that I’m loving is off the shoulder. One thing that I’m super excited about is that this top is “convertible” in that it has an elastic top and can be worn on or off the shoulder. One of the major downsides of that is, it also doesn’t stay off the shoulder if you start moving your arms a bunch haha but oh well!
A blue and coral color combo is perfect for Spring! I’m obsessed with these coral pants from Old Navy! When buying them I never even realized how high waisted they are, it was a total surprise and I’m not at all mad about it! If you’re looking for comfy colorful pants, Old Navy is your place.
I’m dancing my way right into this gorgeous week in an equally stunning top! I scored this ruffle top on a huge sale from Nordstrom. Ruffles are soo in and I can’t stop binging on tops like this! (Disclaimer: I swear I steamed this top 3 minutes before taking these photos and it still ended up a wrinkled mess. Maybe it’s just the fabric?)
Other than the top getting super wrinkled in the blink of an eye, I’m obsessed with this top! I don’t own much in the line of navy even though it’s one of my favorite colors so I’m chalking this up to a win. I felt like a top so preppy called for shoes equally as preppy. I bought these knock-off Jack Rogers last season from Mint Julep Boutique and I’m obsessed! While I love my real Jack’s, I love the price of these knock offs even more. I mean $32.50? Give me a break! They also don’t take any time to break in, unlike my real ones and I’m not nearly as worried to wear these out and get them dirty.
What are your favorite dupes?

This casual peplum top is one of my current faves! I love a good peplum and I’m honestly obsessed with this relaxed and flowy cut. Don’t even get me started on this gorgeous purple color! Spring pastels are my favorite and just look at this stunning lavender. The best part about this top? It’s now ON SALE FOR $15 I mean come on how can you pass that up?! It also comes in some other suuuuper pretty colors. Pairing this light purple with a taupey tan cardigan just seemed right. This color combo gets all the heart eyes, in my opinion!
So I had heard that these shoes are crazy comfy and Kohl’s sent me an extra percentage off so I figured I’d try them out. I’m a little on the fence, I can’t tell if these a really grandma-ish or if they’re cute. Either way it literally feels like I’m wearing clouds on my feet. Oh yeah, btw they’re 50% off right now!!
